Mackenzie is a recent graduate of Villanova University with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical and Sustainable Engineering, respectively. She previously worked for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Fleet Sustainment and Modernization before leaving to complete a Fulbright research fellowship in Indonesia. Her research interests include the fate, transport, distribution, and toxicology of environmental contaminants.
